Thailand is already quite the big country, so for this itinerary we will be using planes as well as buses and ferries. If you are not too fan of buses, you will always the choice to fly all over Thailand. 2 Weeks in Thailand will be intense, but it will be a blast!

2 Weeks Itinerary in Thailand day by day
Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok
Arrive in Bangkok Airport and get to your accommodations. If the time allows it, get out and explore the flower market and the riverbanks.

Day 2: Visit of Bangkok Grand Palace and Temple
Time to really start exploring the beauty of Bangkok. Start by heading to Wat Pho, The Reclining Buddha and then visit the, Grand Palace Wat Phra Kaew next to it. From there take a boat to cross the river and visit Wat Arun. Get back on the boat to see more of the beauty from the river. At the end of the day, get on a rooftop bar to enjoy the evening.

Day 3: Visit of the Floating market and Bangkok
Hop on the public transportation or a taxi and go to the Floating Market. From there head back to Bangkok and visit some of the huge malls of the city. If time allows it, head to the Chatuchak Weekend Market (in weekend) or to Wat Saket (Phu Khao Thong), the golden mount for a panoramic view of the city.
End the day in Chinatown for some amazing street food and go for a walk on Khao San Road

Day 4: Fly to Chiang Rai and explore the city
Once you landed in Chiang Rai, head to your accommodation, drop your bag and head to the city. If the time allow it hang around the city center and visit the Wat Rong Seua Ten, the Blue Temple

Day 5: Scooter trip around the region
If you didn’t do it yet, rent a scooter and head first to Baan Dam Museum (Black house). Then drive on till the Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) to discover a unique place. In the afternoon, drive the Khun Korn Waterfall to spend the end of the day surrounded with nature. Later on, spent the evening in town watch the Clock tower and visit the night market.

Day 6: Tour to the Golden Triangle
Organise (better do it 1 or 2 days in advance) a private driver for one day to discover the Golden triangle. Along the way stop at the Long Neck Village to discover an interesting tribe. Then pop by the Choui Fong Tea Plantation, the Fish cave to feed some hungry wild monkey. Then head toward the Wat Phra That Doi Wao where you will discover the scorpion temple and the border with Myanmar. And finally arrive at the Golden triangle to explore the 3 borders, a place where Myanmar, Laos and Thailand are separated by one river.

Day 7: Bus to Chiang Mai and explore the city
Half of the 2 weeks itinerary in Thailand in already done. So, catch an early bus (or plane) to Chiang Mai. The ride is 3h20 long so you should still have some free time when you arrive. Once your bag dropped at your accommodation, rent a scooter and head north to visit Mae Sa Waterfall, a beautiful place to relax or if you feel more adventurous Doi Inthanon National Park . Finish the day in the city.

Day 8: Scooter trip around the region
Time to explore even more. Head to Doi Suthep, a 13th century temple is home to a large white elephant. From there, head back to the city where you can visit Wat Suan Dok (Royal Cemetery), Wat Sri Suphan (Silver temple), Wat Phra Singh (Temple of the Lion Buddha), Wat Chedi Luang (The Temple of the Big Stup). Day 9: Learn about the Elephant in a rescue center
Learn about the elephant at Ran-Tong Save & Rescue Elephant Centre. After changing your clothes to be in the mood of the center, learn about the elephants, feed them and if the time allows it, take a bath with them. In the end, ride on the bare back of the elephant.

Day 10: Fly to Koh Samui and beach time
The distance being quite huge, fly to Koh Samui to exit the Jungle and enjoy island vibes. You will have to transit through Bangkok and will take 4h15. Once you arrive in Koh Samui, head to your hotel and then enjoy the beach.

Day 11: Explore the island on scooter
Time to explore the Koh Samui island. Start with the Big Buddha (Wat Phra Yai) and the beautiful temple of Wat Plai Laem. In the afternoon chill by Chaweng Beach and in the evening explore the Fisherman’s Village.

Day 12: 4WD tour of the island and beach
Time is short, so to be able to see more while having fun go on a 4WD Jungle Safari Tour which will bring you to the Mummified monk, the Namuang Waterfall and the Secret Buddha Garden. End the day in Lamai Beach and spent the night in a Night Market.

Day 13: Angthong Marine Park
Hop on the big tour boat going to Angthong Marine Park if you haven’t done it yet in Koh Pha Ngan or Koh Tao. hike to the top of Mae Koh for views of the Emerald Lagoon, snorkel at Wua Talap Island, and kayak along the breathtaking coastilne

Day 14: Return to Bangkok
