Let’s explore how to spend 10 days in Andalusia in south of Spain? Great that’s exactly what we did in December 2021 and January 2022. We spent 10 days in Andalusia, and it was amazing.

Not only we had 10 days in Andalusia with sun, but it was also much warmer than back in France where we were living. This itinerary is exactly what we did!

Seville, Cordoba, Granada and Malaga are all on the program.

10 Days is a perfect amount of time to visit Andalusia and will be able to visit most of the best spots.

10 days Itinerary in Andalusia Overview

We will visit Seville, Cordoba, Granada and Malaga. To do so we will only use public transportation. Many people are renting a car, but you can really well do it without one:

  • Day 1: Arrive in Seville
  • Day 2: Visit Seville
  • Day 3: Visit Seville
  • Day 4: Visit Seville
  • Day 5: Day trip to Cordoba
  • Day 6: Transfer to Granada
  • Day 7: Visit Granada
  • Day 8: Visit Granada & Transfer to Malaga
  • Day 9: Visit Malaga
  • Day 10: Visit Malaga & Return

Note that if you have a car, you can add to this itinerary or adjust it.

10 days Itinerary in Andalusia – Day by Day

Day 1: Arrive in Seville

Arrive in Seville in Seville with its international Airport and then take the EA bus to the city center and get to your accommodation.

Triana

Day 2: Visit Seville

Start with a Free Walking Tour to learn about the city and then hang around the biggest park and most popular plaza (Spanish Square) in town before going back on the riverbank to chill the night out.

Spain Travel Guide

Day 3: Visit Seville

Visit the old city center and all its UNESCO world heritage monuments: Royal Alcázar of Seville, Catedral de Sevilla, Archivo de Indias then hang around the Santa Cruz and finish the day with a Flamenco show at Centro Cultural Flamenco “Casa de la Memoria”

Royal Alcázar of Seville

Day 4: Visit Seville

Explore the north of Seville, some of its churches, the beautiful casa de Pilatos, before heading back through the JArdines de Murillo back to Triana to learn about the azulejos.

Setas de Sevilla

Day 5: Day trip to Cordoba

Take the 9h13 train to Cordoba and explore the magnificent Mosque-cathedral and the garden of the Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs. Then stroll around the other famous landmarks of Cordoba.

Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs

Day 6: Transfer to Granada

Rest a bit in the morning, chill a bit more along the river of Seville and then take a bus or a train to Granada. Once in Granada, you can start exploring the old city center or simply head to your accommodation.

Granada Spain

Day 7: Visit Granada

Time to explore the most visited monument of Span, the Alhambra, a beautiful palace and fortress and top of the hill. Then head back to the city center and visit the old city center, pop by the cathedral. Visit the Andalusian monument, Sacromonte and all the viewpoints.

Alhambra

Day 8: Visit Granada & Transfer to Malaga

In the morning, stroll some more around the old district and the viewpoints of Granada and then visit the garden of Carmen de los Mártires

Then take the bus or the train to Malaga and check-in your accommodation. At night, you can go eat to some of the restaurant in Malaga or explore the cathedral which is beautiful in and out.

Mirador Placeta de Carvajales

Day 9: Visit Malaga

Time to explore the Alcazaba. On your way stop at the Teatro Romano de Málaga. Then walk up to Castillo de Gibralfaro for a crazy view of the city. After a lunch break, head to the beach using Pérgolas de la Victoria and come back by Málaga Park.

Castillo de Gibralfaro

Day 10: Visit Malaga & Return

In the morning, you can head north to the Jardín Botánico – Histórico La Concepción. From there, simply take the bus back to the central market and go explore Soho.

In the afternoon/evening, fly back home.
