Reserving a ticket
To secure our bus tickets from Balneário Camboriú to Florianópolis, we booked them through the Clickbus website three days in advance. However, upon arriving at the bus terminal, we noticed that the bus wasn’t fully booked, so it would have been possible to purchase tickets at the last minute and still sit together without any issues.
The cost for each ticket was 46 BRL, which is approximately 10 euros. The process was straightforward, and the price was quite reasonable for the one-hour journey between Balneário Camboriú and Florianópolis.

The bus from Balneário Camboriú to Florianópolis was very much like the other buses we’ve taken in Brazil, providing a comfortable and smooth travel experience. The bus was in excellent condition, with well-maintained interiors and comfortable seating. The seats were equipped with reclining mechanisms, which made the ride much more relaxing, especially for the short one-hour journey.
The air conditioning was on and kept the temperature at a pleasant level throughout the ride, ensuring we stayed comfortable despite the warm weather outside. For convenience, there was a working toilet located at the rear of the bus, which is always a welcome addition on longer trips. The bus was a single-decker, and despite being a short ride, it felt spacious and accommodating.
As for the journey itself, it lasted exactly one hour, just as scheduled. There was little traffic along the way, and the road was clear, making the trip quick and easy. Overall, it was a hassle-free and pleasant bus ride, providing a great way to travel between two popular destinations in southern Brazil.
