Reaching it
To reach the beginning of the trail, we simply walked from our accommodation to the beginning of the trail. We left in the morning around 9am; as it was a sunny day, walking there was gorgeous. It wasn’t too hot yet and it allowed us the see a part of the city before crossing the “highway” and entering a dirt road leading to the trail.
Once at the end of the road, there was a small shop where a local told us that the entrance to this area cost 50 pesos.
Trail
Then, we headed to the right where the trek is. The trek was small and was going over big rocks until a narrow passage that can only be crossed sideways.
The trek has indications and arrows that allowed us the easily follow it. And of course, to know where to stop as it would be possible to keep on for a while.
It is recommended not to bring children and if the rain start, head back.
Once you are back, you can enjoy the freshwater river that flow through the place.
