planning a trip to
Israel
Here is what you need to know
Israel is a country full of contradictions…
The holy land of our world, a place full of history where war has been raged for over 2000 years and for various reason. Religion, land, resources…
We spent a long weekend there and only got to be in Jerusalem, but we felt amaze by it.
Lots of people travel there for religious reasons but you really don’t need any reason to go there and enjoy such a stunning land and all its ancient’ structures.
From the Romans to the Ottomans, the land is full of history.
About
Israel is located on the east side of the Mediterranean Sea.
Its territory is regarded by Jews, Christians, and Muslims as the biblical Holy Land. Its most sacred sites are in Jerusalem.
Its capital is Jerusalem and Tel Aviv another known city on the coast is famous for its Bauhaus architecture and beaches.
The basic design recalls the Tallit, the Jewish prayer shawl, which is white with blue stripes.
The symbol in the center represents the Star of David.
Israel is a land where you can experience how different religions are living together in harmony.
Christians, Jews, and Muslim are all living together and all following their own guidance and beliefs.
While in Israel it is a normal thing to see people carrying firearms. It can be a young man on the tram having a M16 rifle or a father bringing his children to school with a pistol in its belt but that does not make the country unsafe.
In Israel, you can really discover Judaism and how the beliefs are followed. From visiting Synagogue with breath-taking architecture to seeing people praying on the street or against the western wall.
Israel is a place of learning.
What to expect?

Transportation: Buses is an easy way to get from a city to another. Van is also a common way to travel with other people. And between the main city’s trains can be found.
Money: The currency in Israel is the Israeli Shekel (NIS). Rates changes, but at the time we were there 1€ was worth 3.9 NIS. Credit card is widely accepted, and ATM can be found.
Plugs: The plugs in Israel are type C (Euro). The standard voltage is 220V with a frequency of 50hz.
Safety: Israel was perfectly safe during our visit there. Though, it is better to be check how is the situation before going. Once there, day and night are safe.
