8 Best things to do in Seville in 1 Day

Seville is a city full of history as the city was Roman, Muslim, and Christian. Seville is one of the most visited cities in this region and super famous for Flamenco, a traditional Spanish dance. It is best to enjoy Seville for 3 to 4 full days.

But if you only have 1 day there, this “8 Best things to do in Seville in 1 Day” guide will allow you to get the most of it. It will be intense, and you won’t have too long in each of the top spot but you will be able to get most of it.

We will assume you stay in the same area (Triana) as us at (Misterhost Triana Patio de las Flores.) But you can easily adapt the starting point based on your accommodation.

Start the day by walking to The Plaza de toros, the bullfighting arena of Seville. Enjoy its small museum and its arena.

Then walk along the riverbank to the Gold Tower, pass by it to enjoy an amazing view of Seville and its river but don’t visit its museum.

You will be quite early in the Spanish Square, so it shouldn’t be too crowded. Walk around it, take some super nice photos without the crowd. Seat a while in an Azuleros bench.

Then walk around the park. You can also do this one before the Spanish Square as they are in the same place. Walk until the end of the park to see the beautiful architecture of the museum in the park before keeping on.

Time to get back to the old city center, on you way instead of walking on the street, walk inside the Real Fábrica de Tabacos which is the university (may be closed on weekend or holidays)

Then Visit The Alcázar of Seville, the Royal residence of the kings of Spain and the oldest royal palace in Europe. Don’t forget to reserve your ticket in advance. Limit this visit to 2h to have time for the rest. Don’t forget to book your ticket

Catedral de Sevilla

Next stop the day with the visit of the 3rd biggest religious landmark in the world. When you first enter the cathedral, you will have to use the ramp to get on top of the Giralda, the bell tower to get a 360° view of Seville.

 Don’t forget to buy your ticket online before going there.

Centro Cultural Flamenco "Casa de la Memoria"

And finally stroll around slowly to get to Casa de la Memoria. It is time to experience one of the most unique attractions in Seville. A 1h Flamenco shows in Casa la Memoria. The earlier you come, the more you will have a seat in front. We came quite late and got a seat on the side, but it was quite alright as the dancer are anyway moving a lot and in all direction.
