Introduction: Unique Stay in San Rafael
Posada Villa Liliana was the highlight of our trip in San Rafael. The place is amazing and the people really friendly there.
The villa is a guesthouse with 5 rooms, shared area, garden and even a swimming pool.
As freshly renewed, the villa is amazing. Equipped everywhere with AC and big windows making it really bright.

The room
We had the room N°1 and it was amazing. It’s a double room with insuite bathroom. The room is spacious and even had a separated room with a single bed and lots of wardrobe.
The bathroom was like the room, spacious and even had a double shower in it.
We really enjoyed the complete design and ambiance of the room. And in case of hot weather, there is an AC and windows shade.
The common area
Kitchen
The kitchen was one of the best one we had in 3 months in south America, not only there is enough space for more than one guest to cook but it was also well equipped. Big stove and oven, lots of plates and cutleries, all kind of pots and pans. As well as salt, oil and all cooking basics.
Garden
The garden was wonderful and HUGE and going all around the villa. In the rear there was a a big swimming pool that we really enjoyed. When it’s over 35°C, a cold pool is great.
It was cold water but with that weather. It was perfect.
Some pool chairs were also available and taking one under a tree during the hot hours was just perfect.
Host
We were welcome by Mauro, a young man super friendly that would do everything for you. The communication with them is easy. Mauro and Liliana (on Airbnb chat) have both great English.
They also allowed us a late check-out at 10pm for 500 pesos more and help us organise a taxi in order to get to the bus station.
Around the villa
5min walking, there is a supermarket with the best prices we ever saw in Argentina and right in front of the house are bus stops.
The best way yet to get there is by taxi.
