Itinerary:

There isn’t a fixed itinerary to follow in Vitré—it’s best to let yourself wander and discover its medieval charm at your own pace. That said, if you want to explore the castle, aim to be there around 10 AM. We visited in August, and even during peak season, the crowds were minimal. Early morning visits make the experience even more peaceful and immersive.
