Africa is a huge continent; it is the world’s second largest and second most populous continent after Asia.There are 54 fully recognized states with a variety of traditions, cultures, and landscapes.
That you like nature, wildlife, hike, city, nightlife… Africa has it all in stock.
From the Northern land of Maghreb to the Sahara, to the savanna, to the Kilimanjaro, all the way to South, Africa is a beautiful continent.
We only just started exploring Africa, but we will be back there for more adventures.
About
Africa is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Isthmus of Suez and the Red Sea to the northeast, the Indian Ocean to the southeast and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The continent includes Madagascar and various archipelagos
At about 30.3 million km2 (11.7 million square miles) including adjacent islands, it covers 6% of Earth’s total surface area and 20% of its land area.
With 1.4 billion people as of 2021, it accounts for about 18% of the world’s human population. Africa’s population is the youngest amongst all the continents; the median age in 2012 was 19.7
What to expect?
Nature: To the north, the Sahara Desert is an incredible place to visit, with its vast landscapes and golden dunes. To the east, Mount Kilimanjaro awaits adventurers with its towering presence. Central and southern Africa are dominated by the Savanna, home to breathtaking vistas and iconic wildlife.
Hike: Kilimanjaro, one of the Seven Summits, is a top destination for hikers seeking a true challenge. In the north, you’ll also find Mount Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains, offering a medium to easy 2-day hike to the summit, making it an ideal choice for hikers of varying skill levels.
Wildlife:Â Africa is a wildlife haven, with top destinations such as Tanzania, Namibia, Rwanda, Botswana, and Kenya offering incredible safaris. Spot iconic animals like zebras, elephants, lions, giraffes, and more in their natural habitats.
Food: Marrakech is a fantastic introduction to African cuisine. Traditional Moroccan dishes, like couscous and tajine, are flavorful, satisfying, and widely loved. Marrakech’s vibrant food scene makes it a must-visit for food enthusiasts.
Nightlife: The nightlife scene in Marrakech, Morocco, provides an upscale experience throughout the city. From modern nightclubs to traditional belly dancing performances, Marrakech offers a diverse range of entertainment options that cater to all tastes.
Beach: Mnemba Island in Tanzania, part of the historic Zanzibar Archipelago, is a private island offering some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving in the region. Visitors can also enjoy whale watching, swimming with dolphins, and encounters with whale sharks in the island’s crystal-clear waters.
Relaxation: Egypt is one of the top destinations for those seeking relaxation, thanks to its rich history and stunning landscapes. A Nile River cruise, visits to ancient ruins, and fine dining in the cities combine to create a serene and culturally enriching experience.
