It encompasses Eastern Asia, which includes countries like China, Japan, Mongolia, and Korea—often what people think of when they hear “Asia”—as well as Southeast Asia, a top destination for travelers worldwide.

With so many distinct cultures and traditions, it can be overwhelming to decide where to begin exploring. For us, we were fortunate to let serendipity guide our journey.

For most travelers, Southeast Asia is the starting point of their adventure, with popular destinations like Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Cambodia. These countries appeal not only to backpackers but also to standard and luxury travelers, offering something for everyone.
