Africa is a huge continent; it is the world’s second largest and second most populous continent after Asia.
There are 54 fully recognized states with a variety of traditions, cultures, and landscapes.
That you like nature, wildlife, hike, city, nightlife… Africa has it all in stock.
From the Northern land of Maghreb to the Sahara, to the savanna, to the Kilimanjaro, all the way to South, Africa is a beautiful continent.
We only just started exploring Africa, but we will be back there for more adventures.
About
Africa is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Isthmus of Suez and the Red Sea to the northeast, the Indian Ocean to the southeast and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The continent includes Madagascar and various archipelagos
At about 30.3 million km2 (11.7 million square miles) including adjacent islands, it covers 6% of Earth’s total surface area and 20% of its land area.
With 1.4 billion people as of 2021, it accounts for about 18% of the world’s human population. Africa’s population is the youngest amongst all the continents; the median age in 2012 was 19.7
What to expect?
Nature: To the north, the Sahara Desert is an amazing place to visit. To the East, Kilimanjaro awaits. Central and South are the Savanna.
Hike: Kilimanjaro is one of the 7-summit making a top destination for hikers looking for a challenge. But in the north, you can also find Toubkal which provide a medium to easy 2-day hike to the summit in the Atlas Mountains.
Wildlife: Tanzania, Namibia, Rwada, Botswana or even Kenya are to places to see wildlife such as Zebras, Elephants, Lions, Girafes and so on…
Food: Marrakesh provides a great first experience of cuisine in Africa as traditional Moroccan cuisine is delicious and easy to eat. Most of us enjoy a good couscous or Tajine.
Nightlife: The nightlife scene at Marrakech, Morocco delivers an upscale experience throughout the entire city. The city offers everything from modern night clubs to traditional belly dancer performances.
Beach: Mnemba Island in Tanzania s a private Indian Ocean Island and part of the historic Zanzibar Archipelago. The island offers the best snorkeling and scuba diving in Zanzibar, and there are ample opportunities for whale watching, swimming with dolphins and whale shark encounters in the island’s clear, warm waters
Layback: Egypt with all its history as well as amazing settings is one of the top countries to relax. Cruise on the Nile River, visit of some ruins, fine dining in the city…
