What to expect?
Language:Â The official language is French. Though the country is multi-cultural, English should help you around quite enough. Near the German border people will also understand German, and in southwest, Spanish.
Food: French cuisine comes in many ways. All taste can be served. Traditional dish change from one region to the others. Some of our favourite are, tarte flambee, croque monsieur, crepes… and don’t forget the dessert!
Transportation: You can either fly or ride trains. Both systems are quite developed. A cheaper way would be buses with blabla bus or flixbus.
Money: The currency in France is the euro.
Plugs: The plugs in France are type C (Euro). The standard voltage is 220V with a frequency of 50hz.
Safety: Watch for pickpocket. Day or night touristic areas are safe but if you can avoid getting out alone, it would be better in bug cities, smaller one are completely safe
