Balneário Camboriú: A Modern town

As a beach resort town, Balneário Camboriú offer you lots of shopping center, boutiques, restaurants and bars. The peak season is from end of December to middle of January and the high season is from December to Marc (summer in Brazil).

Beaches

There are 2 types of beaches in Balneário Camboriú. The hot one where all people are going. It is a Brazilian tradition to show themselves and to be seen. So those beaches are super crowded. The other type is the secluded beaches that are further from the city center but where you could really well end almost alone on it.

While the ocean there is mostly calm during morning and late afternoon, it can get really wavy during the day. You need to be cautious about it.

Road trip

A nice road trip to do is along the secluded beaches. You can do it by car, bicycle or even walking. This will allow you to explore all the beaches and to choose the one you like the most to end your day chilling on it.

Viewpoint

The city also offers you a nice viewpoint. Accessible by car, bike or walking. By walking, the road gets really steep but a good 15 to 20min will bring you to the top. There you discover a view toward Balneário Camboriú on one side and Praia Brava on the others one.
